Goldsmiths Fair Graduate Bursary


Joseph has been invited by the Goldsmiths’ Company to exhibit his latest work for Goldsmiths’ Fair 2015. Goldsmiths’ Fair is the ultimate destination for those seeking out jewellery by the most exciting independent designer-makers in the UK. Established in 1983 the Fair is now considered to be the most important, prestigious event of its kind in Europe.

In 2015 Joseph was awarded a Silver awards in the Technological Innovation category.

In 2014 Joseph was awarded two commendation awards in the Technological Innovation category.


Weston Beamor Award


Joseph was awarded the Weston Beamor prize in June 2013 for the innovative use of precious metal casting in his Botanical Collection.

Goldsmiths Award


Joseph won Silver at the annual Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design awards in 2013 for the CAD presentation category with his Sintered Cufflink and Bangle collection.


The Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council is a industry body which promotes the highest standard in design and craftsmanship within the jewellery industry and allied crafts. As part of the promotion of excellence in silversmithing, jewellery and the allied crafts, the Council runs the annual Craftsmanship & Design Awards.

Charles Green Design Competition

Whilst studying at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, Joseph was awarded a commendation for the annual Charles Green design competition. The brief was to create a palladium cocktail ring using CAD,  using a gemstone donated by Charles Green. Highly commended for his strong CAD work and well-thought out design Joseph collects his award from Midlands Today presenter Kay Alexander.

Regent Silversmiths Award

In June 2012 Joseph won the Regent Silversmiths Award. This Award was for the Innovative use of Silver and the quality of manufacture of his jewellery pieces.

WorldSkills UK 2011

 In his first year on the HND jewellery & Silversmithing course, Joseph Jackson won Gold Medal at the WorldSkills UK competition, held at the School of Jewellery, BCU.

"Up against several apprentices from the London Jewellery industry and students from North Glasgow College, Joseph produced an exellent quality piece of fine jewellery to secure first place in the final of this prestigious competition."
